Your membership fee is waived
Verified journalists get the same full membership a paying member gets, completely free. Regular membership is €4.99/month on Android and €5.99/month on Apple; verified press pay nothing. Your membership is granted at no cost on an ongoing basis, with no recurring charge.
The verified press badge
When your press credential is verified, a press badge appears on your perso profile. It signals to readers that you are an accredited journalist on a network where every account is a verified person. It is granted only on review, never automatically.

Get the app
perso is a mobile-first network. Download the app and verify your identity to create your account, just like every member.

Verify your press credentials in the app
In the app, submit your press credentials using your work email, plus an optional portfolio link. perso recognises your newsroom automatically from your work-email domain.

On approval, your fee is waived and the badge appears
Once a reviewer approves your press credentials, your membership fee is waived and a verified press badge appears on your profile. You get the same full membership as a paying member, free.
